bloomed: a flower unfolding its petals
peaks: the highest points, like the tops of mountains

Summary:
The main idea of the poem is what the poem is mostly about.
To identify the main idea of a poem, look for the most important topic or message that the poem is talking about.
When we read a poem we can identify its main idea by reading out loud and asking ourselves the following questions:
The title of the poem
Who or what is the subject of the poem?
What is happening in the poem?
What words or phrases tell you about the subject?
How does the poem make you feel?
The main idea is different from the theme. The main idea of a poem is a one-sentence summary of what the poem is mostly about, whereas the theme is the message the poet wants you to take away.
